Book Hangovers

I put down the bottle and picked up a book. Reading saved my life! I went from booze hangovers to book hangovers and I am the happiest I've ever been!

Today's life question

Ok! So I was skimming through some blogs and I saw this question:

Books or E-books?

I thought, Geez! That's a hard one!!

My hubby wants to get me a Kindle this Christmas because my addiction

to books have multiplied this past year!

Our poor book case can not handle any more books.

The shelves are sagging  as I type this right now!

I figured I'd let him get me one, if I don't end up using it for e-books,

there's plenty of other things on there

that I can use it for (it's the Kindle Fire HD x)

The thought of not reading a book, not being able to hold it

turn the pages, look at it, and even smell it makes me sad!!

Books, to me, are like my trophies! Every time I read one

I feel like I have again,  defeated another day!

Long story short. I use to drink, A LOT!! I'm talking a FREAKIN' LUSH!!

It was horrible and my life was spinning out of control.

Then one day in February of 2012,

my husband suggested I try and pick up reading.

So that's what I did! I got the Hunger Games Trilogy,

locked myself in my room and read all three books in a week.

That was my rehab!!

So if it wasn't for books, I don't know where I'd be honestly!

They saved my life!!

So again, This one is hard for me! Books or E-books??

Both Damn it!

I figured if I read an e-book and really enjoy it,

like a 4/5 star rated book, I will go out

and purchase it and add it to my bookshelf!
