Book Hangovers

I put down the bottle and picked up a book. Reading saved my life! I went from booze hangovers to book hangovers and I am the happiest I've ever been!

I got my Library Card!!

Yes I sure did! I may be a little late in this

Library department, Okay, A LOT late actually!

I'm 31 yrs old with my first ever

Library card!

Some of you might be asking "Why in the hell has she waited so long?"

Well lets just say I had a hard past, like one big hangover!!

Then I picked up reading Feb. 2012 and have been enjoying it ever since!

I decided to get a Library card b/c my bookcase is crammed full of books!

Every shelf is double booked and sagging.

It's getting dangerous!

I figured if I really enjoyed the book I checked out from the Library, like

a 4/5 star rating book, then I will go out and purchase the book

to put in my bookcase.

and a new bookcase at that since I'll be saving all this

money by going to the Library now!

So for my first day at the Library, since middle school, I was there for 3 hours!

It was so relaxing and quiet! Usually I go to the bookstore.

Don't get me wrong

I LOVE the bookstore just not the screaming kids running around,

all the chatter going on and all the money I have to spend!

At the Library I took my time looking and reading through endless amounts

of books, strolling down each narrow

aisle and sitting down in over sized cozy chairs.

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised to see how well our public

Library has held up all these years!!

I'm very happy that I finally got a Library Card!

From now on I know how I'll be spending my free time!!
